$33 Million in Sales for the 1st Quarter – Congratulations to our top Agents for March and the 1st Quarter of 2014!

There’s been a lot of action here at Davidson Realty this quarter! We had $26 million in residential sales for the first quarter ($33 million in sales including a commercial sale in Oakleaf Plantation). Our Jacksonville Realtors closed $17.5 million during the quarter. For the month of March, we had $17.5 million in sales (including the commercial sale) and $10.5 million in residential sales from 25 different agents. Our closings were at $5 million for the month. Congratulations to our Top Realtors for March and the quarter!

Top Agents for March:

The Top Lister for March is Suzy Evans with $775,000 in listings sold and $1.2 million in total sales for the month. Suzy had five total sales, four of which were her listings. Read more

Veteran Aviator George Postell Joins Davidson Realty

Davidson Cares’ Gives out $1,000 Grants to Wards Creek, Mill Creek, Palencia and Pacetti Bay!

Marketing Assistant Matt Burkhart and I had so much fun visiting all four of our neighborhood schools to hand out Davidson Cares’ checks for the awesome educational grant request videos submitted by teachers and PTO members for needs within the schools. Students, parents, teachers, staff and the community were given a month to vote every day for their favorite video grant and the winning grant from each school received $1,000! In addition to that, Pacetti Bay’s anti-bullying efforts earned the school a $500 grant because of the importance of the cause. Congratulations to all! Read more

Relay For Life Coming to World Golf Village on March 29

The World Golf Village Relay For Life is coming to Mill Creek Elementary School on Saturday, March 29, at noon! More than 170 participants are expected to take part in the signature fundraiser to benefit the American Cancer Society. Eighteen teams have signed up so far.

Two of our own agents are heading up the event’s planning and organization including Event Chair Amy Anderson and Co-Chair Debra Pappas. Other key contributors are Entertainment and Registration Chair Terri Bailey, Luminaria Pat Philo, Survivor Chair Ken Becker, and Online Chair Kathleen Richards. Read more

Jacksonville Real Estate Trends for February Show a Normalizing Market

I thought this quote was appropriate when I read RealtyTrac’s report that Florida is still the number 1 state in the nation in foreclosure activity even though initial filings dropped 24% in February from the previous year. The judicial foreclosure process drags on for 1,095 days on average. Only Arkansas and Hawaii have longer time frames. Jacksonville ranked number 3 in highest foreclosure rates in the nation.

I cannot do anything about the foreclosure process, but I can take advantage of all the buyers looking in our area because of the schools, the improvement in jobs and the brutal winter that most of the country has experienced. Read more
