Dottie and Suzy Take Over the Tops for June and the Second Quarter!

Sales are staying strong in our real estate office! Twenty different agents had sales to total over $8.3 million for the month and our total sales for the quarter were almost $22 million. It’s not often that only two agents dominate the tops for both the month and the quarter, but we aren’t surprised at all with these hardworking ladies. Meet our top Jacksonville Realtors for June and the second quarter: 

DottieDottie Lay is the Top Lister for June and the second quarter. Dottie had over $800,000 in listings sold and over $1 million in total sales for the month. She sold four of her own listings in June, three of which were in World Golf Village’s premier active adult community, The Cascades. Dottie also reigns king as Top Producer for the quarter with 9 closings totaling over $1.7 million. She had 13 sales for the quarter, nine of which were her own listings, totaling almost $1.4 million in listings sold and over $2.1 million in total sales for the second quarter. Lee_Ann_WadeNew Davidson Realty Agent Lea Ann Wade knows that for families deciding where to live highly-rated schools are often top of the list.  “With three children of my own, one each in high school, middle school and elementary school, A-rated schools and quality athletic programs were very important to us when we decided to make our home in St. Johns County,” said Lea Ann.  “I now have a depth knowledge of St. Johns County schools that I look forward to sharing with my clients.” 

Originally from New Jersey, Lea Ann Wade has moved her family, including three children, around the globe due to her Navy Officer husband’s 20-year career. Along the way, she’s held various positions, from volunteering to working on military contracts at DynCorp in Maryland to holding several corporate positions in the civilian sector.  Now that her and her family have settled in St. Johns County, Wade looks forward to developing her new career in residential real estate.  “My family and I love the great weather, beautiful beach, active lifestyle and overall great quality of life we’ve found here in St. Johns County. Agent Spotlight: Michelle Santorelli

DSC_0622It’s really no surprise to us that St. Augustine Realtor Michelle Santorelli was born and raised in St. Augustine and still calls our fair city home.  When you’re lucky enough to be born in a place with both natural and man-made beauty, great year-round weather, affordable cost of living, cultural attractions and the warmth and spirit of a small town with all the offerings and conveniences of much larger cities, why would you leave?  In fact, Michelle’s knowledge of St. Augustine and the area is a great bonus for the clients she works with.

Michelle has been a part of the Davidson Realty family for two years.  Recently we nabbed a few minutes with Michelle, in between her showing homes and running with her running club, to answer a few questions.

How did you decide to make real estate your career?
I chose real estate because it allows me to be actively involved in the community and help others start new phases of their lives. Agent Earnings One of the Reasons Davidson Realty Stands Above the Crowd

The things that make Davidson Realty different are also what make us special.  We have extremely successful agents, we work as a team and we love to have fun.  We’ve created a video series to give more insight about what makes a career at Davidson Realty different. 

There are three main reasons Davidson is different than other firms in the area: agent profitability, training and mentoring program, and our culture. In this first video, Davidson Realty President Sherry Davidson and Realtor Jennifer Todd concentrate on agent profitability. Agents that have been at Davidson for at least one year average a production level of $2.9 million during a 12-month period compared to the whole market average of $600,000 for individual agent production. As far as compensation, our agents make around $50,000 to $100,000 a year. Read more
