Davidson Cares Clay Day has not only helped raise money for worthy organizations in Northeast Florida but has brought local, like-minded companies together to strengthen partnerships and relationships along the way.

John Watson, President and CEO of Watson Civil, first met the Davidsons when construction began in World Golf Village in 1996. “If I was driving customers on the dirt roads of the development, John and his team would always help me get around the equipment and offer a wave and a smile to whoever was with me,” shares Davidson Realty President, Sherry Davidson.

“We are honored to contribute to Davidson Cares and the amazing local charities whom they support.  To know our financial donations directly impact children and seniors in Northeast Florida brings immense pride to our company and our employees,” shares John Watson. “Watson Civil has been fortunate to participate in Davidson Cares Clay Day since our inception. It is amazing to see the success of the Davidson Cares organization and the incredible growth of the charities it supports.”

Founded in 2014 and headquartered in St. Johns County, Watson Civil is a horizontal contractor that specializes in large site infrastructure, underground, road, and bridgework. Davidson Cares Clay Day

The 6th Annual Davidson Cares Clay Day was held on October 21, 2021, at Jacksonville Clay Target Sports. Davidson Cares Clay Day included two-sport shooting events, beginner skeet, and sporting clay. Individuals and teams from beginner to expert levels participated.

In association with the event, there was also a raffle contest. Prizes included a 65-quart YETI cooler with 13 full-size liquors and a pod for Concerts for a Cause.

Money raised from the event and raffles went directly to Builders Care, St. Augustine Youth Services (SAYS), and Investing in Kids (INK!) in equal sums.
