Congratulations to Gail George, our newest agent to become a Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS)! As a CIPS agent, she is trained to accommodate real estate clients from around the world and complete international transactions seamlessly.

Gail, who is Canadian-born, welcomes the opportunity to assist local buyers, fellow Canadians and international buyers alike.

Her credentials, which are awarded by the National Association of Realtors, provide Gail with access to a network of more than 2,800 professionals to assist with inbound and outbound transactions around the globe.

Davidson Realtor Joanne Samuelson is also a CIPS agent.

Says Davidson Realty President Sherry Davidson, “Earning a CIPS can really help to expand an agent’s reach into global markets. International clients will find in Gail a knowledgeable and conscientious Realtor who really takes the time to meet their needs.”

The CIPS training includes courses on currency and exchange rates, cross-cultural relationships, regional market conditions, investment performance and tax issues. CIPS agents also have access to technological tools that provide translation services, area and currency conversion and time zone calculation.

According to the National Association of Realtors, the CIPS designation is for agents from the United States and abroad who wish to develop or grow their international real estate business by providing the knowledge, research, network, and tools to globalize their business.
