Davidson Invites Aspiring Realtors to Come and Explore new Career Opportunities

At Davidson, we pride ourselves on a strong commitment to education, guidance and agent support. And we are excited to invite interested professionals to learn about a real estate career at our next Career Opportunity open house on September 4 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Davidson Realty offices in World Golf Village.

Offered on the first Thursday of each month, the Career Opportunity event is free and open to the public. Attendees are treated to candid and helpful information in a no-pressure environment including licensing processes and expenses as well as insights from Davidson’s seasoned agents about life as a Realtor.

Recently named one of the area’s 50 fastest-growing companies and ranked in the top 10 of Jacksonville’s best places to work by the Jacksonville Business Journal, we have earned a reputation for our helpful and friendly agents, thriving internal culture and supportive mentoring program for new Realtors.

Says Davidson Realty President Sherry Davidson, “For the past several years we have brought home the best places to work honor, which is a testament to everyone here – every single staff member and agent – as well as our dedication to customer service and agent support. We are looking for agents who are a good fit with these priorities.”

Davidson added, “This year has seen positive market improvements for Realtors including steady increases in new listings and sales. More agents are needed to manage these increases.” Compared to June 2013, the Northeast Florida Association of Realtors reports that new listings in June this year increased 9.5 percent and pending sales were up 25.1 percent.

Davidson Starts With Training & Mentoring for New Agents

New agents at Davidson consistently benefit from its top-notch Realtor training program, which starts with Buffini & Company’s Peak Producers program.  From generating new leads to negotiation skills, Peak Producers teaches new agents the habits, attitudes, and skills of a top producing agent. The next Peak Producers class begins Monday, September 29.

Agents also find immense value in Davidson’s Mentoring Program, which is where they get involved in the day-to-day practices of their new career.  Davidson pairs each new agent with an experienced agent to learn the ins and outs of the business.
