We’ve Done It Again! Davidson Named to Jacksonville Business Journal’s List of Best Places to Work

Once again, the Jacksonville Business Journal released its annual Best Places to Work list and, once again, Davidson Realty made the cut! We’ve been featured on the Journal’s exclusive list for several years in a row and, this year, we are one of only two realty companies on the list. Way to go, Davidson!

The Journal released the list on July 4, which ranks qualified Northeast Florida companies based on nine categories including the happiness and morale levels of workers and the company’s balance of work and fun. Anyone who has experienced our company cookouts, luncheons, mixers, contests, fundraisers  or outings knows that Davidson knows how to have fun – and get the job done!

“Balancing work and fun is a priority for us,” says Davidson Realty President Sherry Davidson. “If our agents and staff are happy at work, that positive energy will show in their interactions with customers.”

One way we achieve this is by using continual training and mentorships to nurture a workplace in which agents support one another instead of constantly competing. Says Sherry, “Davidson’s family environment is forged in mutual trust, support and fun. We wouldn’t have it any other way!”

And that’s not all. There is a lot of back end work in which Davidson management includes its employees to help improve business processes. As Sherry told the Journal, “We constantly review our procedures and business plan to ensure that we are meeting or exceeding our goals.” By utilizing a program called “Good to Great”, Davidson invites employees to suggest operational improvements.

Between the events, trainings, support and continual improvement initiatives, Davidson certainly earns its Best Places to Work distinction!

The Jacksonville Business Journal conducts the Best Places to Work survey annually using Quantum Workplace, a third-party company that specializes in measuring workplace satisfaction.
