Sherry Davidson Joins DBPR “Celebrating Women in Business” Panel

Sherry Davidson will join other female business leaders to provide insights and advice as part of a discussion panel at the 4th Annual Celebrating Women in Business event on Friday, May 29. Hosted by the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR), the event begins at 1 p.m. at the Midtown Centre in Jacksonville.

“I am a big believer in sharing knowledge and experience to help champion professional development for women,” said Sherry. “This business panel is one of those valuable opportunities for all of us to learn and share with each other.”

Sherry will join four other panelists to discuss their professional and business-related experiences, as well as provide tips and advice. The panelists include the following:

Sherry Davidson Named to St. Johns County Education Foundation Board

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Sherry Davidson to the Board of Directors of the St. Johns County Education Foundation (SJCEF). Drawing on her accounting and tax background, Sherry plans to serve on the SJCEF Finance Committee.

Said Sherry, “I am passionate about education and SJCEF offers some really great, impactful programs. The board members have a real passion to make St. Johns County schools even better. I’m looking forward to helping the foundation provide support and resources for all of our schools.”

Our non-profit corporate giving program Davidson Cares was launched in 2011, which provides support to local St. Johns County schools through grants. Those schools currently include Mill Creek Elementary School, Wards Creek Elementary School, Palencia Elementary School, Pacetti Bay Middle School and Nease High School. Read more

We’ve Done It Again! Davidson Named to Jacksonville Business Journal’s List of Best Places to Work

Once again, the Jacksonville Business Journal released its annual Best Places to Work list and, once again, Davidson Realty made the cut! We’ve been featured on the Journal’s exclusive list for several years in a row and, this year, we are one of only two realty companies on the list. Way to go, Davidson!

The Journal released the list on July 4, which ranks qualified Northeast Florida companies based on nine categories including the happiness and morale levels of workers and the company’s balance of work and fun. Anyone who has experienced our company cookouts, luncheons, mixers, contests, fundraisers  or outings knows that Davidson knows how to have fun – and get the job done! Read more
