This holiday season, there is so much to see!

The weather is shifting, with cooler mornings and breezier evenings, and fall is in full swing! Pumpkins are on the porch, and it seems the holidays will be here in no time. With so many great venues and holiday-inspired live music events, it’s an especially great time to see a show here in Northeast Florida. Here’s what’s happening in Jacksonville, Ponte Vedra and St. Augustine this November and December.

Imagine thousands of candles, a string quartet and the beauty of some of the most unique venues in Jax — that’s the magical musical experience known as Candlelight Concerts, presented by Fever. This season, concerts will be held at the Jacksonville Public Library’s Ann & David Hicks Auditorium and The WJCT Soundstage. Concerts are 60 minutes and tickets start at around $45. In November, see Mozart vs Beethoven, A Tribute to Fleetwood Mac, Coldplay & Imagine Dragons and Queen vs Abba. In December, experience 90s Hip-Hop on Strings, A Tribute to Michael Jackson and the most special Tribute to Dolly Parton. Get in the spirit starting December 19th, with shows performing Christmas Classics and Christmas Carols. See the full concert list at feverup.com/en/jacksonville/candlelight.

Jacksonville, Ponte Vedra and St. Augustine have it all — with serene beaches and world-class dining, A-rated schools and high property values, and a variety of venues hosting the best touring bands in the U.S. today. From beautiful historic theaters to quaint concert halls, stadium arenas to epic outdoor amphitheaters, here’s our favorite places to enjoy live music.

Florida Theatre: 128 East Forsyth Street, #300, Jacksonville FL 32202

A beautiful and grand venue, the Florida Theatre opened on the corner of Forsyth and Newnan in downtown Jacksonville in 1927. Built to host live performances and motion pictures, this historic structure continues to operate as such today — pulling in epic talent and playing classic movies and unique cinematic events. Its stage has hosted acts from Elvis Presley to Fleetwood Mac, Richie Havens to Lynyrd Skynyrd, as well as many impressive contemporary acts. And the elaborate interiors make every show all the more memorable. Built in the Spanish Eclectic Style, it boasts terrazzo floors, sparkling chandeliers and wall hangings woven in France and Italy. It’s a unique and special place to see any show. For a full events schedule and to purchase tickets, visit www.floridatheatre.com/events.
