If you are like me, you are drawn to read every article you come across on the subject of the real estate market. Most of these articles generate more questions than answers due to the inconsistency in their conclusions. For example, in the last week I have read (reliable sources!) that new home sales are up to the highest level in 6 years and the real estate recovery is sputtering. Much of the reported news reflects the market where the reporter resides. Additionally, while the national trends are important as an overall indicator, it is our own local trends that are critical to the planning process. Read more

Davidson Realty is at it again! We were recently ranked in the Jacksonville Business Journal’s top 10 Best Places to Work in Northeast Florida and now we have come in at #30 on their 50 Fastest Growing Companies list! The Business Journal 50 acknowledges the fastest growing private companies in Northeast Florida. Several Davidson Companies’-partners, including Jim Davidson, Sherry Davidson, Ed Gil, Sam Davidson and Matthew Davidson were joined by Davidson agent Mirtha Barzaga and long-time Davidson Development employee Cindy Vaughn at the Business Journal 50 Awards Luncheon held on Thursday, July 17th at the Hyatt Downtown. We’ve Done It Again! Davidson Named to Jacksonville Business Journal’s List of Best Places to Work

Once again, the Jacksonville Business Journal released its annual Best Places to Work list and, once again, Davidson Realty made the cut! We’ve been featured on the Journal’s exclusive list for several years in a row and, this year, we are one of only two realty companies on the list. Way to go, Davidson!

The Journal released the list on July 4, which ranks qualified Northeast Florida companies based on nine categories including the happiness and morale levels of workers and the company’s balance of work and fun. Anyone who has experienced our company cookouts, luncheons, mixers, contests, fundraisers  or outings knows that Davidson knows how to have fun – and get the job done! Read more

Celebrating our Top Realtors for a Terrific June and Monumental 2nd Quarter!

Congratulations to all 50 of our St. Augustine Realtors for a job well done in June and a very impressive 2nd Quarter! We had $10.3 million in sales for the month and $10.5 million in closings that were all residential sales. For the 2nd Quarter, there were 38 different agents with closings for a total of $46 million!
