The Northeast Florida Association of Realtors market stats for August continue to show a strong local real estate market. The closings and pending sales are up, the median and average sales price are up and the inventory of homes for sale and percentage of distressed properties are down. While it is a personal decision, there are a few guidelines that can help buyers understand the differences in the buying process and avoid issues.

According to Bank of England Production Manager Troy Silhan, the process is essentially the same from pre-approval through closing with a few minor distinctions.
