Another excellent month of sales and closings on the book! Twenty-six different agents had sales during July totaling over $16 million in residential sales. We also had over $22 million in closings for the month! Congratulations to our entire team on all their hard work. June Real Estate Trends – Pending Sales are Approaching Historical Peak Activity

If you are like me, you are drawn to read every article you come across on the subject of the real estate market. Most of these articles generate more questions than answers due to the inconsistency in their conclusions. For example, in the last week I have read (reliable sources!) that new home sales are up to the highest level in 6 years and the real estate recovery is sputtering. Much of the reported news reflects the market where the reporter resides. Additionally, while the national trends are important as an overall indicator, it is our own local trends that are critical to the planning process. Read more

We were recently ranked in the Jacksonville Business Journal’s top 10 Best Places to Work in Northeast Florida and now we have come in at #30 on their 50 Fastest Growing Companies list! The Business Journal 50 acknowledges the fastest growing private companies in Northeast Florida. Several Davidson Companies’-partners, including Jim Davidson, Sherry Davidson, Ed Gil, Sam Davidson and Matthew Davidson were joined by Davidson agent Mirtha Barzaga and long-time Davidson Development employee Cindy Vaughn at the Business Journal 50 Awards Luncheon held on Thursday, July 17th at the Hyatt Downtown.
