Dr. Sean Snaith, the Director of the Institute for Economic Competitiveness at the University of Central Florida released the Florida forecast in December 2016 for 2016-2019 and the report is very encouraging. He is predicting Real Gross State Product (RSGP) to grow an average of 3.7% annually in 2016 through 2019. Read more

Davidson welcomes toy industry veteran Vern Shadowen

Davidson is pleased to welcome our newest agent Vern Shadowen. His background includes decades in the toy manufacturing industry, and later, in auto parts production.

“Vern is incredibly detail-driven and focused on ensuring his customers have the best possible experience,” said Davidson Realty President Sherry Davidson. “It is great to have him on our team.”

Vern originates from Central City, Kentucky, and holds a degree in electronics. He relocated to Chicago and worked with toy manufacturer Playskool for more than 30 years. Vern later moved into auto parts production as a corporate manager with Pyramid Mouldings. After retiring in 2016, he followed his long-time passion for real estate. Read more

Agent Shelley Nemethy’s “Power Hour” puts new spin on traditional Bible study

Davidson agent Shelley Nemethy will host a “Power Hour” Bible study beginning Thursday, March 9, at Davidson Realty’s locations in World Golf Village and Jacksonville Beach. The program is open to the public.

Shelley will host the first Power Hour on Thursdays from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at 100 East Town Place in World Golf Village. A second Power Hour will be held on Thursdays from 6 to 7 p.m. at 1500 Beach Boulvard, Suite 215, in Jacksonville Beach.

The Bible study is based on Priscilla Shirer’s program “Breathe: Making Room for Sabbath.” Read more
