Davidson Cares recently wrapped up its fundraising year for the St. Johns County public schools by delivering $1,000 educational grants to five local schools, including Wards Creek Elementary, Mill Creek Elementary, Palencia Elementary, Pacetti Bay Middle School and Nease High School. Throughout the 2014- 2015 school year, over $21,000 was raised through sponsorships and fundraising efforts!

The schools listed above submitted video grant requests on www.davidsoncares.com to receive funding for various needs, such as technology, an anti-bullying campaign, science equipment, projector equipment and a 3D printer. Each school’s video with the most votes won a $1,000 grant. The remainder of the funds was donated through Davidson Cares and our partnership with the St. Johns County Education Foundation.

A big thank you to title sponsors MOJO Old City BBQ, Bank of England, Heekin Law and Charles Schwab for their generous support of our schools. For more information on Davidson Cares, visit davidsoncares.com or call Peyton Davidson at (904) 940-5000.
