Builder Spotlight: Providence Homes

December 12, 2023

 |

Davidson Realty has been helping develop World Golf Village since the very beginning, and Providence Homes was one of the early builders who built beautiful homes in Royal Pines and King & Bear. Ever since, we’ve had a great relationship with Providence and many happy customers.

Established in 1992, Providence Homes builds in some of the most picturesque areas of Duval and St. Johns Counties. Their mission is to build beautifully-designed homes at affordable prices, while maintaining caring relationships with their home owners. Providence ensures their homes are of the highest of quality and are homeowner satisfied, built with reliability and attention to detail. “Every home we build, we build as if it were our own,” shares Bill Cellar, Founder & CEO of Providence Homes. “I created this company to make a difference in the industry, to always ‘do the right thing’ – and that has set Providence apart.”

Providence has earned numerous awards from ENERGY STAR® for its dedication to energy efficiency. Sherry Davidson, President of Davidson Realty, shares, “Many years ago, we did several videos on the ENERGY STAR® Homes Providence Homes was building, and I left the filming with a completely different appreciation for what ENERGY STAR® meant. Like how the homes were designed to be energy efficient, including where the vents were located in each room, along with insulation, as well as energy efficient windows and so much more. I was so impressed that I have been wanting to own one myself ever since.”

Voted 2023 Winner of “Best Companies to Work For in Florida” by Florida Trend, Providence Homes guarantees to deliver the best home-buying experience while creating a working environment that is fun, exciting and challenging – and they always remember to give back to the community. “Over the years, Davidson Realty has deepened our relationship with Providence Homes because of their generosity and integrity,” Sherry adds. “We love doing business with them. They generously support many wonderful charities, and it feels nice to do business with a company you know will do the right thing every time.”
