We’re proud to announce that Karen Stern, the well-known and respected former County Commissioner, has joined our Davidson Realty team as a new Realtor. Karen Stern was elected to the St. Johns County Commission in 2005, where she served as Chairman and Vice-Chairman to the Commission.  Says Davidson Realty President Sherry Davidson, “Karen Stern has been dedicated to making our community better for more than 25 years which is a value we hold near and dear at Davidson Realty.  We’re thrilled to have her on our team.”

Karen Stern grew up in Alabama and moved to St. Augustine about 30 years ago. She has been married for over 25 years to her husband, Les, whom she met after moving here. They have two children; son, Jarrod, a water resource engineer in South Florida, and daughter, Maggie, a Museum Studies student at FSU. Prior to joining the Davidson Realty team, Karen served as a government relations consultant and as an elected official in St. Johns County. After serving on the St. Johns County School Board, she was elected to the St. Johns County Commission, where she served as Chairman and Vice-Chairman to the Commission. She has also served on the Board of Trustees for St. Johns River State College and on the Northeast Florida Regional Planning Council. Karen is a 2010 graduate of the Leadership Jacksonville program and serves in a volunteer capacity with the LJ Adult and Youth programs. She also enjoys her volunteer service with Habitat of St. Johns County. Read more
