Davidson Cares Clay Day Is Fast Approaching: Raffle Tickets Now on Sale

It’s that time of year again! Davidson Cares is getting ready to host their 7th Annual Clay Day on Thursday, October 20, 2022, at Jacksonville Clay Target Sports. Davidson Cares Clay Day is devoted to raising money for several local charities that make a huge impact in the Northeast Florida community: St. Augustine Youth Services, Investing in Kids!, Builders Care, Port in the Storm Homeless Youth Center, and Hope is Restored. 

 

“Davidson Cares Clay Day is an event our team and many in the community look forward to all year. It’s incredible to see the First Coast community come together to raise money for worthy causes that directly assist our Northeast Florida neighbors,” shares Davidson Realty President, Sherry Davidson. 

 

In addition to the safe and fun shooting experience at Clay Day, Davidson Cares is selling raffle tickets for two prizes that you won’t want to miss which include a Yeti Cooler with bottles to stock your bar and a shotgun! “The raffle is another fun element to Clay Day. We are thankful to Leigh Insurance Agency and Mark Sherman with Atlantic Trust Mortgage for being our 2022 Davidson Cares Clay Day Raffle Sponsors,” shares Davidson. Each raffle ticket is $50 and each raffle item has a limit of one hundred tickets for sale. Winners will be selected at the 2022 Clay Day, however, the winner does not have to be in attendance to claim their prize. 

 

The Cooler and Cocktail raffle is a Clay Day favorite year after year. This year, a Yeti Tundra Haul Wheeled Cooler will be stocked with thirteen bottles to stock your bar for entertaining family and friends. The winner of the shotgun will receive a Beretta A400 Xcel. This 20-gauge shotgun is the fastest, lowest-recoil clay buster on the market. 

 

Raffle tickets can be purchased online or at the Davidson Realty office located at 100 East Town Place, Suite 100, St. Augustine, Florida 32092. 

 

Davidson Cares Clay Day 2022 is sure to be memorable. Money raised from the event and raffles went directly to Builders Care, St. Augustine Youth Services (SAYS), and Investing in Kids (INK!) in equal sums.

Giving From the Heart – The Hutson Companies Supports Davidson Cares Clay Day

The Hutson Companies has been a major sponsor for Davidson Cares Clay Day from the beginning. In 2018, The Hutson Companies committed to match up to $40,000 as an additional contribution to St. Augustine Youth Services (SAYS), one of the local organizations that benefits from Davidson Cares Clay Day. More than $52,000 was raised that year and the incredible efforts by SAYS to assist at-risk youth were further supported thanks to The Hutson Companies.

 

The Hutson Companies is proud to partner with Davidson Cares to help provide much-needed dollars to our local non-profits. “It is always a pleasure to see such wonderful people that want to give back to our community at the Davidson Cares shoot,” shares Cody Hutson, Vice President of The Hutson Companies. Focused on Giving – The Landmark Foundation Supports Davidson Cares Clay Day

Since 2016, the Landmark family has graciously been a major sponsor for Davidson Cares Clay Day at the highest level. Landmark Title, through their nonprofit division, called The Landmark Foundation, proudly supports Davidson Cares. “We are honored to be a part of their annual charity shoot. We appreciate all the Davidson Companies do on a continuous basis to give back to the community they serve,” share David Heekin, President and Founder of Landmark Title. “Ten dollars from each of our closings go to The Landmark Foundation which allows us to donate to worthy causes such as Davidson Cares.”

 

The relationship between the Davidson Companies and Landmark began in 2009 during the recession when David Heekin provided invaluable knowledge in short real estate sales to Davidson Realty and their clients. During that time, Heekin provided training and served on panels to help educate others in the real estate industry about short sale transactions. This partnership only continued to grow from there. In 2013, when William Li joined the Landmark Title team as Vice President, Landmark Title rented executive suites in the Davidson Realty office because their business was expanding so rapidly. Li frequently joined the Davidson Realty team for sales meetings, training sessions, and always made himself available as a resource to Davidson Realty agents.
