Jaguars tickets & fishing charter among Davidson Cares charity raffle prizes

In association with our annual sport shooting event on October 18, Davidson Cares is running three raffle contests.

 

Jaguars Package – Sponsored by Dreamfinders Homes, the Jaguars Package includes 30 tickets to the Jags vs. Colts game on December 2 at TIAA Bank Field in Jacksonville. The package also includes two parking passes in Lot V for pre-game tent tailgating and Publix gift cards worth $125.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Fishing Package – Courtesy of TECO, the Fishing Package includes a half-day fishing charter and lunch with Captain Leon Dana, as well as three Costa halyard retainers, three Buff multifunctional headwear bandannas and three Huk performance fishing hats.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Cooler & Cocktail Package – Arthur Rutenberg Homes presents the Cooler & Cocktail Package, including a 65-quart YETI cooler and an assortment of 14 liquors (between .75 and 1.75 liters each) from Broudy’s Fine Wine & Spirits. Davidson Realty Spotlight: Shirley Barber

Wandering through the offices of Davidson Realty, it is easy to find professionals with a wide range of talents and hobbies. On a given day, you may meet a mountain climber, author, philanthropist, world traveler, fitness competitor or artist.

 

You may also run into Shirley Barber, who boasts an incredible passion of her own. For 13 years, Shirley has served as Master Gardener for the University of Florida extension program IFAS (Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences, or simply UF/IFAS). She is also a gardening teacher, speaker and consultant for other organizations and schools throughout Florida.

 

Shirley’s dedication is remarkable by any standard. She has volunteered more than 15,000 hours in the past 13 years, topping 1,700 hours during the past two years alone.

Davidson Realty sponsors party deck at Void charity golf outing

While golfers at Void’s charity golf outing Let Freedom Swing were hitting the links, our agents were ready on the party deck to provide plenty of refreshments and entertainment!

 

Davidson Realty served as official Party Deck Sponsor for Let Freedom Swing on Friday, May 25, at Hidden Hills Golf Club in Jacksonville. Agents provided drinks, games and prizes for the event’s 144 golfers after they completed their rounds. We also sponsored the event’s photo lounge.

 

Proceeds from the event went to Combat2College, which provides assistance to military veterans seeking higher education.

 

“The weather was perfect and everyone had a great time gathering to support the efforts of Combat2College,” said Davidson Realty President Sherry Davidson. “My thanks to all our fantastic agents who came out and helped with the event.”

Davidson Realty agent Carolyn Palacios organizes Hunger Fight effort

Thanks to Carolyn Palacios and eight fellow Davidson Realty agents, fewer Northeast Florida students will experience hunger in the coming year.

 

Carolyn recently organized an effort for the non-profit Hunger Fight to provide nutritious meals to more than 20 students for an entire year, including weekends and summertime.

 

Agents at both Davidson Realty locations pitched in to help. Realtors at the World Golf Village office sponsored students in need at Mill Creek Elementary School, and several Jacksonville Beach agents lent their support to students at Seabreeze Elementary School.

 

In addition to Carolyn, Davidson Realty contributors include Sherry Davidson, Candy Gil, Erin Mount, Shirley Barber, Jennifer Todd, Matt Burkhart and Mirtha Barzaga.

Shooting for SAYS event raises $35,000 for local kids’ charity
