It’s time to mark your calendars for Jim Davidson’s Annual Clay Day, now celebrating ten years of supporting local charity organizations! Davidson Cares Clay Day is Thursday, October 16th. This highly anticipated event boasts a day of target clay shooting, held at Jacksonville Clay Target Sports, located at 12125 New Berlin Road in Jacksonville. Registration and lunch are from 11:30am until 12:30pm. Shooting begins at 1pm.

At Jim Davidson’s 10th Annual Clay Day, participants can shoot 100 sporting clay targets in a fun, communal setting. There is a minimum donation of $500 per shooter. Clay Day is hosted at Jacksonville Clay Target Sports, one of the oldest continuously operating clubs in the United States. Situated on 80 acres, the club features two state-of-the-art 15-station sporting clays courses designed by internationally renowned sporting clays architects and designers, Heyward Cunningham and Rick Hemingway.

Since its inception, Jim Davidson’s Annual Clay Day has raised over $871,000 for nonprofits throughout Northeast Florida. The 2025 event is supporting the following organizations:

St. Augustine Youth Services (SAYS) shapes the future of Florida’s at-risk youth by providing coaching, counseling and care in family-style therapeutic group homes and outpatient community services.

The St. Johns Education Foundation, operating as Investing in Kids (INK!), is the sole direct support organization for the St. Johns County school district. It provides support through innovative programs and classroom resources to close the literacy gap, improve graduation rates, and ensure that all students reach their full potential.

Builders Care is a faith-based nonprofit construction contractor whose mission is to provide affordable to no-cost construction services to the elderly, disabled, veterans and other nonprofits in Northeast Florida with the kindred purpose of building a better habitat for all.

Port in the Storm Homeless Youth Center provides comprehensive support to homeless and unaccompanied youth in crisis, including drop-in services, life skills training, job skills development, housing assistance and overnight accommodations.

Five Star Veterans Center was established to assist veterans in need, particularly those between the ages of 22 and 55 who are dealing with post-traumatic stress disorder, traumatic brain injuries, depression, anxiety and other related mental health conditions, all aimed at helping them reintegrate into society.

Homes for HOPE partners with members of the building industry to empower fellow entrepreneurs in underserved communities through sustainable solutions to material and spiritual poverty. All donations directly to the work of HOPE International, enabling families to break the cycle of generational poverty in all its forms.

Jim Davidson’s 10th Annual Clay Day proudly recognizes the following Title Sponsors: Riverside Homes, MasterCraft Builder Group, Providence Homes, The Hutson Companies and Watson Civil Construction. Sponsorship opportunities are still available, beginning at $250.
