Davidson Cares Donates Over $11,000 in Less than Sixth Months to Local St. Johns County Schools!

Sherry Davidson, Shelby Heinemann and I had a wonderful time at Pacetti Bay Middle School’s Arts Around the World Event this past Tuesday night where Davidson Cares donated the remainder of the money from this year’s fundraising programs. It was wonderful to see Pacetti Bay Middle School, Wards Creek Elementary, Mill Creek Elementary and Palencia Elementary all represented at one great event!

Davidson Cares donated a total of $11,300 to the four schools mentioned above, which was raised or donated in less than six months…a pretty great first year! We donated $4,800 in grants to each of the schools based on video submissions and the remainder of the money was divvied up based on total school votes for the grant videos. Palencia Elementary received $2,275, Wards Creek received $1,625 and Mill Creek and Pacetti Bay each received $1,300 for a total of $6,500!
