Jim’s Shish Kabobs Recipe!

2787157_f4963 ½  Pounds lean meat, cut in cubes

SAUCE

1 ½ Cups wine vinegar
1 1/3 Cups salad oil
1 Teaspoon salt
1 Teaspoon pepper
1 Tablespoon rosemary
1 Tablespoon thyme
1 Teaspoon dry mustard
½ Teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
2 Cloves of garlic, chopped
1/3 Cup of soy sauce

VEGETABLES

12  Small whole onions (parboiled if desired)
18 Large button mushrooms
1 Jar of sweet cherry peppers
3 Bell peppers, cut into large pieces

Marinate the meat in a sauce made of the sauce ingredients overnight in the refrigerator.  Place on skewers in the following order:  meat, onion, cherry peppers, mushroom, meat, bell pepper slice, meat, onion, cherry pepper, mushroom, meat, bell pepper and meat.  This will make approximately 6 to 8 kabobs.  Cook on charcoal grill, turning frequently until the meat is done.  Baste with the remaining marinade.
