Meet our Top Realtors in November 2012 – Congratulations to Dottie, Ted and Mirtha!

November makes another strong month for our Jacksonville Realtors for residential home sales and closings! Our team closed out the month with almost $7.8 million in sales and approximately $5.2 million in closings. Special recognition goes to our top three Realtors in November: Congratulations to Dottie, Ted and Mirtha!

The Top Lister in November is Dottie Lay with $545,000 in listings sold and $755,000 in total sales! Dottie sold three listings during the month and one buyer sale. Dottie is an experienced top performer.  In fact, she was the Top Lister for June and the Top Lister and Top Producer for the second quarter of 2012. Dottie was born and raised in Jacksonville Beach and has been in real estate since the mid 1980s, so she has the experience to help you with any of your Northeast Florida real estate needs! Mirtha Barzaga, our Davidson Realty Agent Spotlight this month is no stranger to the spotlight.  Mirtha is frequently recognized for her strong sales track record.  In fact, Mirtha is our Top Producer for September 2012 and Top Lister for the Third Quarter 2012.  She has developed a specialty in new home construction and was recently instrumental in negotiating a multi-lot purchase in the King & Bear for a national homebuilder. We caught up with Mirtha recently to chat with her about her successful real estate career and busy life in Heritage Landing.

Let Davidson Realty’s Mentor Program be Your Guide to Success

Here at Davidson Realty, we pride ourselves on our outstanding Realtor training programs, from Buffini & Company’s Peak Producers where our agents develop the habits, attitudes and skills of a Peak Producer, to our Mentoring Program to get new agents on their feet in the real estate business. In the video above, Davidson Realty President Sherry Davidson is joined by one of our Mentoring Program teams to explain the benefits of our excellent program.

Our Mentoring Program pairs a new agent with an experienced agent to assist in learning the ins and outs of the real estate business. New agent Maxine Levy explains how experienced Realtor Mirtha Barzaga held her hand through the entire process – building her confidence, reinforcing things she had learned, and answering any questions she might have. Maxine was able to ride around with Mirtha to listing and showing appointments and to learn the Northeast Florida area. Maxine says it best, “The mentor is your guide, not the book.” Read more

Suzy & Mirtha Dominate the Tops for September and the Third Quarter!

September turned out to be another excellent month and the hard working Davidson team ended the third quarter of 2012 strong! We had $7.8 million in sales and $5.6 million in closings for the month and $22 million in sales and $19 million in closings for the quarter! There were two ladies that really stood out not only in September, but for the entire third quarter. Congratulations to Suzy and Mirtha!

Suzy Evans is our Top Lister and Top Sales Agent for September and the Top Sales Agent and Top Producer for the third quarter! She had almost $900,000 in listings sold and almost $1.5 million in buyer sales for September. As always, Suzy sells all over Northeast Florida from St. Augustine to downtown Jacksonville with a total of six sales for the month! For the quarter, Suzy had $3.2 million in sales, over $2.1 million in buyer sales and over $1 million in listings sold. Suzy’s ten closings in the quarter (three of which were new home construction) totaled almost $3 million in closings! Read more
