Suzy & Mirtha Dominate the Tops for September and the Third Quarter!

September turned out to be another excellent month and the hard working Davidson team ended the third quarter of 2012 strong! We had $7.8 million in sales and $5.6 million in closings for the month and $22 million in sales and $19 million in closings for the quarter! There were two ladies that really stood out not only in September, but for the entire third quarter. Congratulations to Suzy and Mirtha!

Suzy Evans is our Top Lister and Top Sales Agent for September and the Top Sales Agent and Top Producer for the third quarter! She had almost $900,000 in listings sold and almost $1.5 million in buyer sales for September. As always, Suzy sells all over Northeast Florida from St. Augustine to downtown Jacksonville with a total of six sales for the month! For the quarter, Suzy had $3.2 million in sales, over $2.1 million in buyer sales and over $1 million in listings sold. Suzy’s ten closings in the quarter (three of which were new home construction) totaled almost $3 million in closings! Read more

A big Davidson Realty welcome to another new real estate professional in our World Golf Village office: Ken Kochan. Ken has in-depth financial experience thanks to many years of accounting and controller experience. “Ken is an astute ‘numbers guy’ who can offer his clients valuable investment insights and financial guidance when it comes to their real estate transactions,” says President Sherry Davidson.

Ken started his career in public accounting with Deloitte & Touche (formerly known as Touche Ross) and went on to work for Fortune 500 companies as well as small entrepreneurial firms.  His career included financial managerial positions with media companies, including Gannett Co, Inc. and CBS News where he was responsible for the finances of news bureaus worldwide.  He also served as Controller for a local Jacksonville importer/wholesaler whose customers included many major consumer goods retailers such as Wal-Mart, CVS and Publix.  Ken graduated from the University of Connecticut with a BS Degree in Accounting. Davidson Realty Forms Foundation to Support Local Schools

We are proud to announce the creation of our new Davidson Cares Foundation to support education and our local schools, including Wards Creek Elementary School, Mill Creek Elementary School, Palencia Elementary School and Pacetti Bay Middle School. It will be funded by Davidson Realty’s proceeds from real estate sales and fundraising events. Says Davidson Realty President Sherry Davidson, “Quality education and excellent public schools are integral to building a thriving, desirable community.”  She added, “Davidson Realty has been donating to local schools for years but we wanted to do more than just give money.  Davidson Cares gives us the opportunity to donate our time, resources and business proceeds in support of our community.” Read more
