Chuck was born in South Carolina and raised in Jacksonville. In 1996, he moved with his wife and two children to northwest St. Johns County. Jacksonville Real Estate Trends for August – Days on the Market Down to 80 Days!

I am truly hoping my Atlanta Braves play baseball so hard they become great this year. They have had a tremendous season and now the great ones will win it all. I love the post season.

The real estate market continues a slow and steady recovery even though we have seen a rise in mortgage interest rates. Pending and closed sales are up, prices are up, new listings are up, days on market are down, and inventory and months supply of homes for sale are down. Everything is going in the right direction. We are thrilled to announce that Davidson Realty Senior Vice President and Financial Officer Ed Gil has been named to Jacksonville Business Journal’s Ultimate CFO list for 2013! Ed joins 12 other Jacksonville finance executives on the exclusive roster.

“I was very surprised and honored to be named,” says Ed, who learned of his award while on vacation. “It took my vacation up to the next level!” Having earned a reputation at Davidson as “not your typical accountant”, Gil credits a willingness to take on hard work and a good sense of humor for his success as a CFO. Breaking into the Top 10! Davidson Realty Hit 9th Spot on Jacksonville Business Journal’s List of Residential Real Estate Agencies

Here we grow! We’re proud to report that Davidson Realty rose to the 9th spot on the Jacksonville Business Journal’s ranking of area residential real estate agencies.  The list is based on value of houses and lots sold in 2012. Davidson Realty’s values for 2012 were $90.67 million in total homes and lots sold and 418 properties sold.  We ranked 12th on last year’s list. Read more
