If you haven’t come to a Davidson Speaker Series, then this is the month you will want to join us. We have one of these events on the last Thursday of every month. It begins with wine and cheese at 7 P.M. We invite guests to come and speak about topics we know you are interested in! This month isn’t any different. Chef Tasha Peters will be doing a cooking demo on how to eat sensibly and affordably. 

Let me give you a little background about Tasha. She is originally from Savannah, so you know she can cook that good ol’ Southern food! Tasha’s palate is so diverse; she grew up in a military family, living all over the world. Tasha learned to appreciate the eclectic cuisine from the locals.

Chef Tasha has worked in the food industry for twenty years. Five years ago, she decided to open her own business, Big Mouth Catering and Personal Chef Service. Tasha customizes menus for busy professionals. She has helped many people achieve their weight loss goals by helping with proportions and diet. Not only did she excel as a personal chef, but also as a caterer. In addition to family meal planning and dinner parties, Tasha has designed and executed parties for up to 200 guests.  One of Tasha’s favorite ways to exceed client’s expectations is with a romantic dinner for two in their home where she designs a perfect menu, prepares and serves a romantic dinner.

Now she is off on a new endeavor with her husband Marshall Peters. They are opening up a restaurant in St. Augustine Beach called “The Groove”. It is located in the quaint Sea Grove Town Center at 128 Sea Grove Main St.  The Groove is a fast, casual restaurant serving fresh salads, Panini’s, flat breads, craft beers and wines. The Groove caters to special diets such as gluten free and Vegan. It opens on April 30th!
