Bid on Masters Golf Tournament Tickets & Other Great Auction Items

You have probably heard about our new Davidson Cares foundation, where we offer support for our outstanding St. Johns County public schools, including Mill Creek Elementary, Wards Creek Elementary, Palencia Elementary and Pacetti Bay Middle School. The program launched this month and we are currently collecting grant submissions from each of the four local schools for their chance to win $500 to $1,000 for a great idea benefiting a classroom, a grade level, or even the entire school. In addition to the grants, Davidson Cares will host local fundraisers to raise even more money to be split amongst the schools. We are extremely excited about our first fundraiser that will take place at Mile Marker Brewery on Friday, November 9th! Read more

A Davidson Realty Salute To New Realtor® Dave Haviland

Our ranks of real estate pros continues to grow. This time with former Marine and all-around great guy Dave Haviland. In addition to his military background, Dave brings extensive business experience to his new role in real estate. Says Davidson Realty President Sherry Davidson, “Having grown up in a military family and then serving in the United States Marine Corps himself, Dave is a hard worker who truly understands dedication and service.”

Dave Haviland is originally from Beaufort, South Carolina. He and his wife settled in northeast Florida in 1998 to raise their daughter here. Dave spent much of his professional life in the Automotive Industry in Logistics, Manufacturing, Fleet Management and Retail.  He brings to Davidson Realty a confidence in relating to people and a wealth of knowledge about the local area, and is committed to helping families find the right place to call home. In his free time, Dave is an outdoorsman who enjoys skeet shooting.

Here at Davidson Realty, we pride ourselves on our outstanding Realtor training programs, from Buffini & Company’s Peak Producers where our agents develop the habits, attitudes and skills of a Peak Producer, to our Mentoring Program to get new agents on their feet in the real estate business. In the video above, Davidson Realty President Sherry Davidson is joined by one of our Mentoring Program teams to explain the benefits of our excellent program.

Our Mentoring Program pairs a new agent with an experienced agent to assist in learning the ins and outs of the real estate business. New agent Maxine Levy explains how experienced Realtor Mirtha Barzaga held her hand through the entire process – building her confidence, reinforcing things she had learned, and answering any questions she might have. Maxine was able to ride around with Mirtha to listing and showing appointments and to learn the Northeast Florida area. Maxine says it best, “The mentor is your guide, not the book.” Read more

Suzy & Mirtha Dominate the Tops for September and the Third Quarter!

September turned out to be another excellent month and the hard working Davidson team ended the third quarter of 2012 strong! We had $7.8 million in sales and $5.6 million in closings for the month and $22 million in sales and $19 million in closings for the quarter! There were two ladies that really stood out not only in September, but for the entire third quarter. Congratulations to Suzy and Mirtha!

Suzy Evans is our Top Lister and Top Sales Agent for September and the Top Sales Agent and Top Producer for the third quarter! She had almost $900,000 in listings sold and almost $1.5 million in buyer sales for September. As always, Suzy sells all over Northeast Florida from St. Augustine to downtown Jacksonville with a total of six sales for the month! For the quarter, Suzy had $3.2 million in sales, over $2.1 million in buyer sales and over $1 million in listings sold. Suzy’s ten closings in the quarter (three of which were new home construction) totaled almost $3 million in closings! Read more
