Holiday Wreath Making & Christmas Décor Silent Auction – Thursday, December 1st at 7 pm

The event is organized by Interiors Revitalized which furnishes the supplies and helps you create a beautiful, unique wreath that will become part of your holiday traditions for years to come. Bring your friends and make it a festive night.  The cost is $30 per person and proceeds benefit the Ronald McDonald House. Cost includes one wreath making. Seasonal refreshments will be served.

The evening will also include a silent auction featuring high-end holiday decor and special seasonal decorations.  From 4′ standing Santas and lighted boxwood topiaries to large trumpeting angels and a huge variety of stunning floral arrangements, these are not your average holiday decorations!  These distinctive decor items are being offered at discounted prices and all proceeds will benefit the Ronald McDonald House. Davidson Speaker Series Presents An Inside Look at the Development of Ponte Vedra’s Premier Master Planned Communities: Marsh Landing & Sawgrass Players Club

Free Baptist Health Seminar Answers Questions About Osteoporosis

Dr. Picerno with Jacksonville Orthopaedic Institute and chief of staff elect for Baptist – South, will be in World Golf Village on May 26th to present a free health seminar: Osteoporosis: Your Questions Answered.

Osteoporosis, the most common type of bone disease, is the thinning of bone tissue and loss of bone density over time. It’s estimated that about 1 in 5 American women over the age of 50 have osteoporosis.  About half of all women over the age of 50 will have a fracture of the hip, wrist or vertebra (bones of the spine).  Dr. Picerno will present the latest information and research about Osteoporosis and answer your questions.

Dr. Picerno is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon and a fellow of the AAOS. He completed his orthopaedic residency at the University of Florida, Health Science Center in Jacksonville where he served as chief resident and was the recipient of the Luis S. Russo award for professionalism in Medicine.

Dr. Picerno is integrally involved in leadership at Baptist Health at the Baptist – South campus, and serves as Chief of Orthopaedics at Baptist – South. He is currently chief of staff elect for Baptist – South and he will become Chief Of Staff in 2012.

AWootenThis is sure to be one POWERFUL seminar!  International Self Protection Training Expert Andrew Wooten will be at Davidson on April 28th for a free seminar at 7:00 p.m.  Wooten will teach you how to protect yourself, feel more in control, anticipate precarious situations and be aware of your surroundings at all times.  Wooten has visited Davidson Realty’s office before to provide self defense training for Agents. “Andrew makes you realize how vulnerable you are but then gives you the tips and techniques you need to protect yourself in a variety of situations,” said Sherry Davidson.  “His seminars are some of our most popular.  He’s a  charismatic presenter with information that everyone can use,” she added.andrew

Andrew Wooten is the Safety Advisor of the National Association of REALTORS® as well as the President of Safety Awareness Firearms Education (S.A.F.E.). Wooten is an expert in the fields of safety and security as well as crime and loss prevention. He’s also an accredited multi-black belt in Judo, Jiu-jitsu, Taekwondo and Aikido.Wooten specializes in the anticipation, recognition and prevention of property crimes. He is an internationally known author, trainer and speaker who has completed more than 6,000 trainings worldwide since 1984.  Don’t miss this seminar on Thursday, April 28th.
