President of Davidson Realty Sherry Davidson started the evening with a reminder that our company goal written in 2005 still holds true in 2012 – “That the Davidson Companies are the best that we can be. We don’t want to be the biggest real estate company, but we aim to be the best in our geographic area in customer service. We want every person that calls our development or realty office to be treated with respect. We hope their experience with Davidson leaves them thinking we are professional, honest, caring and helpful. And we hope they refer someone they know to call Davidson!”

Then Sherry presented the 2011 awards! Thank you to Beverly Morse, Elsie Evans, Shirley Barber, Matt Davidson, Ted Tyndall, and Jock Ochiltree for their 5 years of service with the Davidson Companies. Mirtha Barzaga and Sharon King took home the “Values People First Awards” for always supporting, congratulating, problem solving, and motivating with a smile on their faces.

The “Step up to the Plate” Award was given to Ed Gil for learning even better ways to serve our agents and employees with short sales. He rolled with the punches and came out swinging! And, of course, what would we do without his jokes every Tuesday in our sales meeting?!?

Elsie Evans with Davidson Property Management congratulated Margherite Myers as the Rental Team Agent of the Year in Volume and Mirtha Barzaga for Rental Team Agent of the Year in Transactions.

Our Rookie of the Year Award went to the very deserving Maxine Levy! No one has worked harder or had a better attitude than Maxine. Her character is exactly what our core values are about and she makes us laugh!

Congratulations to all of our agents that received Production Awards – Jennifer Todd, Doug Duggan, and Margherite Myers with $2 million closed and $2 million sold. Michelle Gonzalez, Jock Ochiltree, and Ted Tyndall with $3 million closed and $3 million sold. Lynn Whitley with $3 million closed and $4 million sold.  Ana Speziale with $4 million closed and $3 million sold. Pauline and Woody Cake with $5 million closed and $6 million sold. Dottie Lay with $6 million closed and $6 million sold.

Mirtha Barzaga had $5 million closed and $6 million sold and was also our Listing Agent of the Year – selling more of her listings than any other agent this year!

Suzy Evans took home two huge awards – Closing Agent of the Year and Sales Agent of the Year! She had $7 million closed and almost $8 million sold. Way to Go, Suzy!

And, our final award of the night was our President’s Award. Every year, one agent is selected who had an outstanding year and no one can argue that Lynn Whitley is the most deserving this year! She transformed her business and herself in 2011. She more than doubled her closings from 2010 to 2011, while losing almost 50 pounds. Congratulations Lynn!

Our Top Sales Agent and Top Listing Agent for December is Dottie Lay with almost $300,000 in listings sold and over $1 million in total sales. Seventeen different agents had sales in December for a total of over $4.2 million. Dottie had an amazing close to 2011 and we know that 2012 will take her even further!

The Top Producer for December is Margherite Myers with over $900,000 in closings! Our agents had over $4.2 Million in closings for the month. Margherite was on fire this month selling new home construction in The Cascades – World Golf Village’s premier active adult community.

For the 4th Quarter, our Top Sales Agent is Suzy Evans with over $1.3 million in buyer sales and over $2.5 million in total sales. Total sales for the quarter were over $16 million. Suzy was also our Top Sales Agent/Top Producer in November and our Top Lister in October.

The Top Lister and Top Producer for the quarter is Mirtha Barzaga with over $1.7 million in listings sold and almost $2.8 million in total sales. She had almost $3 million in closings.  Our closings for the quarter were over $14 million. Mirtha was also our Top Lister in November and the 3rd Quarter.

Congratulations to the entire Davidson family for a year of progress!

The Top Sales Agent and Top Producer for November should be no surprise to anyone – Suzy Evans! Suzy had over $1.1 million in buyer sales and over $1.3 million in total sales. She had almost $1.5 million in closings. Suzy was our Top Lister in October and continually demonstrates what it takes to stay on top.

Our Top Lister this month is Mirtha Barzaga with almost $650,000 in listings sold and over $1.3 million in total sales. Mirtha was our Top Lister for the 3rd Quarter as well. She is another agent that is no stranger to the Tops list.

Both Mirtha and Suzy are CDPEs (Certified Distressed Property Experts), which means they have specialized training in Short Sales and Foreclosure prevention. They have helped many homeowners in difficult situations and we have received many letters explaining how amazing they are at guiding you through the process. They are both experts in our area and are never too busy for your referrals!

The Top Lister for the month is Michelle Gonzalez with almost $400,000 in listings sold and over $1.1 million in total sales. Michelle has been on her way to the top since she joined us 4 years ago this month!

The Top Producer in September is Mrs. Lynn Whitley with over $1.3 million in closings. Lynn was recognized as our Top Sales Agent in August and hasn’t slowed down since!

Our Top Sales Agent is Pauline Cake with over $900,000 in buyer sales for September. Pauline was also our Top Sales Agent in June and our Top Producer for the 2nd Quarter. She has done a tremendous job in 2011 and we love watching her succeed.

The Top Lister for the 3rd Quarter is Mirtha Barzaga with over $1.4 million in listings sold and over $2.5 million in total sales. You might have seen her name as our Top Producer in July and Top Lister in June and July. Congratulations, Mirtha!

Top Producer and Top Sales Agent for the 3rd Quarter is Suzy Evans with $2.4 million in closings, over $1.6 million in buyer sales, and over $2.8 million in total sales! Suzy was our Top Lister in August, Top Producer in August, Top Sales Agent in July, and I could keep going, but I think you get the point.

Way to go ladies, the men have some catching up to do! Congratulations to the 20 different agents that had closings in the 3rd Quarter.

Mirtha Barzaga remains on top in July as our Top Lister and Top Producer with 6 sales totaling over $1.2 million, over $750,000 in listings sold, and 3 closings in July totaling over $500,000. Mirtha was our Top Lister in June. She not only works every day of the week, but she manages to find time to mentor our new agents. Mirtha was basically the inspiration for our Mentor Program because of her excellent guidance with Davidson agent, Maxine Levy. She takes on new agents and shows them the ropes – everything from how to make a listing presentation to understanding documents at closing. She is also your biggest cheerleader along the way! She juggles real estate, a very large family, mentoring and somehow she makes it seem effortless. That’s probably because she loves what she does so much and boy, does it show! 

The Top Sales Agent for July is Suzy Evans with 6 sales totaling over $1.6 million. She had over $1.2 million in buyer sales. We are not only celebrating Suzy’s title as Top Sales Agent, but also her 3 year anniversary with Davidson Realty! We are so happy to have such a professional on our team! Suzy was our Top Lister in April, our Top Producer in March, and our Top Sales Agent in January. We know you will continue to see her name at the top. Suzy has it all and there is a lot we could all learn from her.
