January did not bring the sales and closings numbers we were hoping for, but there was still a lot of great activity in Northeast Florida – particularly when it comes to new home construction! Our St. Augustine Realtors alone sold five homesites and six new construction homes in the month of January. It’s great to know new construction is happening again and there are new neighbors on the way!
The Top Lister of the month is Jennifer Todd with $385,000 in listings sold. Jennifer’s specialty is new home construction and evaluating vacant land, but selling five lots in the month of January is impressive even for her! All five of the homesites are in The Estates in the King & Bear – two were sold to a builder and three to individual buyers. Congratulations Jennifer!
The Top Sales Agent is Suzy Evans with over $350,000 in buyer sales. Suzy sold two new homes in January – one in World Golf Village’s premiere active adult community, The Cascades, and the other for KB Homes in Samara Lakes. You might remember Suzy from our last top’s blog on year-end awards. Suzy was our Top Sales Agent and Top Producer for all of 2011!
Our Top Producer for January is Jock Ochiltree with close to $700,000 in closings. Jock also sold a homesite in Waterbury in World Golf Village’s King & Bear and had a total of four closings in January! Jock is our resident golf expert and would be happy to share his expertise on Jacksonville golf course communities with you.
April sales almost tied our March numbers! This month we had over $8.2 million in sales and $3.3 million in closings. 17 different agents had sales this month. Great job to all of our St. Augustine Realtors! Here are the Tops for the month:
Jock Ochiltree is our Top Sales Agent with over $1.1 million for the month! Jock is having a great year so far! He was also our Top Sales Agent for March and for the first quarter. Jock loves to golf, especially on World Golf Village’s world renowned courses. Our Top Lister with over $900,000 in listings sold is Suzy Evans! Suzy was our Top Producer in March and is planning on ruling the Top’s list for all of 2011! Suzy’s professionalism and outstanding customer service has repeatedly landed her on this list. Great job, Suzy!
Pauline Cake is our Top Producer with over $1.2M in closings for the month! She was our Top Lister for March and the first quarter. Pauline recently sold one of the four specially priced King & Bear homesites in World Golf Village! She would love to talk to you about building your dream home. We know she has even more lined up in May! Also, May marks Pauline’s 9th year with Davidson Realty and we are so happy to have her on our team!

We had a great March and first quarter! Last year at this time the deals came pouring in because of the Home Buyer Tax Credit, but this time March was a great month all on its own! We had over $8.7 million in sales for March a good month by any standard. There were 22 different agents with sales in the first quarter. What a team effort – Congratulations to all of our Jacksonville Realtors with a sale, listing, or closing in the first quarter of 2011!
Our Top Lister for March and the first quarter is Pauline Cake! She had almost $1 million in listings sold in March and over $1.7 million in total sales for the quarter. No one is more passionate about World Golf Village than Pauline. She has been here from the very beginning with us and we couldn’t be happier to have her!
The Top Sales Agent for March and for the first quarter is Jock Ochiltree. Jock’s buyer sales were over $1 million for the month and he had over $1.9 million in total sales for the quarter. Jock loves to play golf and is a 20 year veteran of golf course community living. He would love to take you out on the King & Bear golf course and help you find your dream golf course lot or home!
Dottie Lay had the most total sales in March with over $1.5 million and over $2.2 million in total sales for the quarter! She is our Top Producer for the quarter with over $2.2 million in closings. She was also our Top Producer in February. If you look at the other Tops blogs you will see her name!
The Top Producer for closings in March is Suzy Evans with 4 closings for the month totaling more than $750,000. Suzy has been Top Lister and Top Producer many times also!

This month, we get to recognize our top real estate agents for December…and for the 4th quarter of 2009 - not to mention a special recognition for our top employee of the quarter – Cindy Vaughn (far right) - too!
For December, Lyn Sappington (4th from left) took top sales honors with $1.6 million in transactions for the month. Lyn is known for selling homes throughout Northeast Florida – from Amelia to Palm Coast. Jock Ochitree (not pictured) was our top producer with $1.4 million in closings. His specialty is homes in golf course communities. Pauline Cake (far left with real estate partner/husband Woody Cake) – who specializes in selling The Neighborhoods of World Golf Village - won top lister with just under $400,000 in listings sold. Davidson Realty really has a remarkable team of sales agents and support staff. Each month we like to take the opportunity to recognize a few of them. This month, we’d like to congratulate Jock Ochiltree for selling the most homes in September. Although this is a wonderful claim to fame, one of Jock’s other notable accomplishments is playing golf on over 400 courses in 14 countries.
Davidson Realty’s top producer in September was Doug Duggan with over $1.3 million in volume. We must give an honorable mention in this category to Beverly Morse who was a very close second with $1,278,500 in volume.
Finally, the top lister for the month was Lyn Sappington. And she has played almost as many golf courses as Jock, including Ballybunion, Old Course and Pebble Beach. (more…)
