The St. Augustine Community Chorus Presents Sing We Now of Christmas – December 10 & 11 at Cathedral Basilica
Davidson Property Management’s own John Evans will be one of the many lovely voices singing seasonal melodies as The St. Augustine Community Chorus presents Sing We Now of Christmas at the Cathedral Basilica of St. Augustine. Performances are Saturday, December 10 at 8:00 pm and Sunday, December 11 at 2:00 pm. The St. Augustine Community Chorus will be joined by The St. Augustine Children’s Chorus with orchestral accompaniment by The Concert Artists of Jacksonville.
Sing We Now of Christmas will include portions of Handel’s Messiah and other seasonal music presented in the resplendent Cathedral Basilica in downtown St. Augustine, built in 1797 and the seat of America’s First Parrish. Says John Evans, “From the acoustics to the gothic architecture, the Cathedral Basilica provides the perfect backdrop for the Christmas music program.” The St. Augustine Community Chorus is a mixed chorus comprised of local and regional singers. A Toast to Novemberfest: Over $950 raised for the American Cancer Society!
Thanks to everyone who came out for our Beer Tasting Fundraiser at Taps Bar & Grill yesterday. Clearly you can’t go wrong with beer and food because we’re proud to report that we raised $950 for the American Cancer Society. Over 50 people joined us to try six specialty beers which were paired with five delicious appetizers. From the Leffe Blonde Belgium Abbey all the way to Harpoon UFO Raspberry Hefeweizen, guests had a great time sipping beers and socializing for a great cause.
The crispy pork belly on top of sticky rice with sweet and spicy chili sauce was by far my favorite appetizer! Most of us went back for seconds. We raffled a twosome for the Slammer & Squire golf course, a foursome for South Hampton’s beautiful course, 2 Jaguar tickets to the Jags/Texans game, and two $50 Taps gift cards. We had great participation in the raffles, which means even more money to the American Cancer Society – the official sponsor of birthdays!
Thanks again to everyone who came out, donated, or helped spread the word about our event. We couldn’t be prouder to sponsor this year’s World Golf Village Relay for Life. Join us for a Beer Tasting at Taps Bar & Grill Nov. 9th to Benefit Relay for Life and the American Cancer Society

We can’t really think of anyone who needs an excuse to try some tasty brews but we’re offering up a great reason anyway! Davidson Realty and Taps Bar & Grill have teamed up to present NovemberFest on Wednesday, November 9 from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. This casual beer tasting will feature six specialty beers and delicious appetizers. Proceeds raised from the beer tasting will support the World Golf Village Relay for Life Team which raises money for the American Cancer Society.
Tickets are $25 in advance, $30 at the door. Ticket price includes six specialty beer tastings, one pint of your favorite flight and appetizers. Raffle tickets will also be sold. Prizes include: a twosome of golf for the Slammer & Squire course at World Golf Village; two $50 Taps gift cards; and two tickets to the Jaguar/Houston Texans game at Everbank Field on November 27th.
