Davidson Realty is pleased to announce its appointment as Agency of Record for several major land holdings by Hutson Companies, including SilverLeaf Plantation, OakLeaf Plantation and the 8,557-acre Hutson Ranch.  In addition, Hutson has asked Jim Davidson to serve as Vice President focusing on sales and marketing efforts.

Davidson Realty will provide Hutson with real estate consulting and brokerage services.  As part of its appointment, the company has entered into an exclusive brokerage agreement with the Hutson Companies’ affiliate, AFI Associates, Inc., to market and sell the remaining Hutson holdings in OakLeaf Plantation.  Davidson Realty is also the exclusive broker for the sale of St. Johns County timber and farmland owned by Elkton Green, Inc., another of Hutson’s affiliates.

Davidson directed Arvida’s Sawgrass projects in the early 1980s, and was the original master developer of World Golf Village.  Davidson and Metcalf have successfully collaborated on large diversified communities since 1981.

One of the largest landowners in Northeast Florida, the Hutson Companies developed OakLeaf Plantation in western Duval and Clay counties, and is the owner of SilverLeaf Plantation, a 7,500-acre development in St. Johns County. The SilverLeaf property is approved for the development of 10,700 residential units and 1.8 million square feet of commercial retail, office and industrial space.  Major transportation improvements are also planned for SilverLeaf, including the outer beltway/I-95 interchange and a 7.5 mile portion of future County Road 2209 connecting County Road 210 and International Golf Parkway.

Rachel originates from “across the pond” in London, England, and relocated to our area in 1996. She met her husband in Orange Park and the couple married in 1999.

Rachel’s diverse professional experiences have all centered on providing excellent care and customer service. Her resume includes work as a caregiver, account rep for a plumbing and building company, life insurance agent, loan originator, as well as processor and deficiency specialist with Wells Fargo. She is eager to leverage her diverse experience to help her clients find their dream property right here in Northeast Florida.

Another consistent top performer, Mirtha Barzaga is our Top Sales Agent in May with $2 million in sales. Mirtha had nine transactions for the month, five in World Golf Village and the rest throughout Jacksonville and St. Augustine.  She sold three of her own listings and had two new construction transactions. Mirtha was the Top Listing Agent and Top Sales Agent for April, the Top Listing Agent for the first quarter, the Top Listing Agent for February, and the Top Listing Agent and Top Sales Agent for January. She also led her Cubs teammates to victory for our baseball contest this month! One of the names always at the top of our big producers list, Suzy Evans is our Top Producer with over $2.2 million in closings for the month of May! Suzy had five closings during the month; many were high-end homes in St. Augustine. She sold two of her own listings. Suzy was our Top Sales Agent and Top Producer for March and the first quarter of 2013, and also the Top Sales Agent in February. Suzy sells all over Jacksonville, St. Augustine and Ponte Vedra and specializes in high-end and luxury homes.
