Webinars Continue in March with Topics For Renters and Homeowners

Davidson Realty’s free webinar series will feature important information for renters and homeowners alike in March.  Webinars are online seminars open to the public.  You only need a computer to log-on and attend the webinar of your choice from the comfort of your office or home. The web-based seminars last 20 to 40 minutes followed by a question and answer session. Each webinar is lead by Davidson Realty, Inc. President Sherry Davidson, along with a subject expert. The Davidson Speaker Series and Jim Davidson Present The Development of World Golf Village

Great vision…hard knocks…tireless work…big risks…frustrating setbacks and huge wins are all part the compelling story about the development of World Golf Village. On February 25th as part of the Davidson Speaker Series, Jim Davidson, the original developer of World Golf Village, will present the amazing story of the community’s creation.  Jim recounts the ups and downs of 20 years work in developing one of the largest master-planned communities in Northeast Florida, and the development that spurred the growth and popularity of northwest St. Johns County that continues to this day. 

The Development of World Golf Village will be presented on Thursday, February 25 at 7:00 pm. The Davidson Speaker Series was started by Sherry Davidson, President, Davidson Realty, Inc. so that local professionals could share their expertise with the community. Wine and cheese are served and the event is held in the Community Room at the Davidson Realty offices.

Get a Jump Start on Your New Years Resolution

Doug DugganInclude me as one of the many who have started counting calories in an effort to lose a few pounds this new year.  Less than a week in, and I could certainly use some advice, motivation and frankly, a kick in the tush.  That’s why I’ll be hightailing it to Doug Duggan’s Health & Fitness seminar on January 21st and hope you will, too.  A former Olympic weightlifter, Doug will cover a variety of fitness topics, including how to fit fitness into a busy lifestyle, and how to achieve a balanced physical fitness program.

Most of you know Doug as an experienced real estate pro, but you may not know that he  competed as a Weightlifter from 1955 to 2000, and spent 11 years as a certified personal trainer and owner of a gym in St. Simon’s Island, Georgia. (more…)

Davidson Realty, Inc. Continues to Support Sertoma Toys for Tots

DSCN0312Yes, times are tough and people are cutting budgets and reducing spending every chance they get. Unfortunately, it also means that there are more families and children in need of help than in previous years, and with people watching their spending and cutting budgets, non-profits are taking a big hit. That’s why we are more proud than ever of our real estate agents, who showed tremendous generosity this holiday season despite the tough year for the Jacksonville real estate industry.

We continued with our annual tradition of collecting toys for Sertoma Toys for Tots. We had collection bins at all of our open houses, but times were tight and they didn’t seem to be getting nearly as full as usual. So, Davidson Realty employees agreed to forgo their own holiday gift exchange (more…)
